Hiking Waterfalls San Teodoro
The Cascate trekking excursion is located on the slopes of Monte Nieddu on the San Teodoro side.
A circular route that starts from Stazzo Pitrisconi and winds halfway up the hillside between the two sides of the Rio Pitrisconi valley.
Waterfalls, waterfalls, natural pools, an astonishingly beautiful natural environment just a stone's throw from San Teodoro.

Trekking to the Waterfalls
Excursion Monte Nieddu San Teodoro
The Waterfalls trek is located on the slopes of Monte Nieddu, on the San Teodoro side. The circular route starts from Stazzo Pitrisconi and winds halfway up the slope between the two sides of the Rio Pitrisconi valley.
From this dominant position, it is possible to observe the stream bed, its 'water jumps' and various small lakes.
About halfway down, you cross the stream and face the return journey uphill in sections. The passage inside the 'House of the Fairies' is suggestive: an agglomeration of bizarrely shaped rocks.
We then return to Stazzu Pitrisconi for a rest and refreshment.
When the season permits, you can regenerate yourself with a refreshing dip in the clear waters of the natural pools of Rio Pitrisconi.
