After parking the car in the Ololbizzi area, not far from the beautiful little church of San Pietro in Golgo, Cala Goloritzè’s trekking begins.
The trail climbs on a stone until the top of the plateau from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the sea and of the huge pinnacle of Goloritzè.
From here it begins the steep descent through a lunar landscape of white pebbles among which only the junipers can break the monotony and find life.
Along the path you can admire “shears” (ancient shepherds shelters) dug into the rock and a touching crossing of a natural rock arch. Goloritz’s summit is getting closer and closer: a 120-foot limestone pinnacle, a passion for climbers from all around the world.
Through a steep wooden staircase you will arrive at the enchanting beach where, when the season allows, you can regenerate with a bath in the turquoise waters of the cave before facing the challenging return trip following the same path.
