Hiking Padru San Teodoro
A trekking excursion to Lu Castedducciu, on the slopes of Monte Nieddu overlooking San Teodoro.
An exciting tour that offers an accessible alternative to see the hinterland. Along the route is a forest of holm oaks where wild animals, including wild goats, are often spotted.

Excursions between Padru and San Teodoro
Excursion Padru Lu Castedducciu
The Lu Castedducciu trek is located on the slopes of Monte Nieddu, San Teodoro side. The trail begins at Stazzu Pitrisconi.
The trail starts with a challenging climb and leads to a saddle that separates the coastal area of San Teodoro from the hinterland of Padru. The view here is majestic, the path is always open and dominates the valley.
Encounters with wild goats are frequent in the last stretch along the cliffs.
Before tackling the descent, it is pleasant to take a break under the large holm oak tree, from which there is a beautiful panorama.
The descent begins gently along the ridge of the mountain and leads back to the cart track that leads to Stazzu Pitrisconi.
